Hi there, my name is Jordan! I'm just a guy from Australia who really loves God, has been gifted with a sound mind, and wants to share what I've been learning about living a powerful and effective Christian life with the people around me.

These posts started on the evening of my 21st birthday party. I was reflecting on all the amazing things God has done in my life and felt compelled to share a part of my testimony on Facebook. The next day, I felt God give me a revelation to share in the follow-up and the Thought of the Day was birthed!

I take my gift of teaching (and the responsibility that comes with it) very seriously, taking from the warnings given to teachers in the books of Titus and James:

In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech

that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.

Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.

Because of this, I've decided not to pressure myself to post every day, in case by doing so I end up sharing something that isn't true to Scripture. With that said, I do post most days - sometimes individual posts, and other times mini "series" where I expand on one topic over several days.

 

I hope that you enjoy reading the random collections of thoughts that my mind spins together. I hope that what you read will make you reflect on how you can live a life worthy of the calling we have as God's children. But most of all, I pray that what you read will bring you into a deeper revelation of the incredible God who is our Father, our Friend, our Lord and our King - the God who loved us so much that He sent His only Son, that whoever should believe in Him should not perish but have eternal life. He is worth knowing and knowing well. I hope that I can help you know Him more. Enjoy!
